Cwmcarvan is within easy reach of London, Oxford, Bristol and the Midlands.  It is less than  ½ hour Bristol, just over an hour from Birmingham, and 15-20 minutes north of Chepstow.  See maps below.

It is equidistant between the historic town of Monmouth (6 Miles), and Raglan with its famous castle.  Monmouth is well provided including a Waitrose and Marks & Spencer Simply Food, and it is a very pleasant market town to amble and browse with a good variety of shops, coffee houses and other attractions.

The location is ideal to reach the Rivers Severn, Wye and Usk, the Forest of Dean, across to the Black Mountains and the Brecon Beacons.  It is in the Wye Valley Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. This is one of the finest inland landscapes in Britain.

The farm is well off the road so it is secure for children to play and pets to roam.  The last 2 miles of approach are along narrow lanes.
